Small businesses invited to learn how to work with the City of Evansville
Local businesses looking to secure city contracts can meet directly with department buyers and contractors during a June 9 outreach session at the EWSU Sunrise Pump Station.
Small-to-medium-sized businesses interested in supplying goods or services to the City of Evansville are invited to attend an upcoming informational networking session designed to help vendors better understand city contracting opportunities.
The “Doing Business With the City of Evansville” info session will take place Tuesday, June 9, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the EWSU Sunrise Pump Station, located at 1200 Waterworks Road.
Organizers say the event will give business owners an opportunity to network directly with buyers from several city departments, as well as prime contractors, while learning how to prepare for future procurement opportunities with the city.
The session is aimed at helping local businesses navigate the city’s purchasing process and strengthen relationships between municipal departments and the local business community.
The event is being presented in partnership with the Indiana Small Business Development Center, the City of Evansville, and the Evansville Regional Economic Partnership.
Registration information is available through the Evansville Regional Economic Partnership events page.
