Adrian M. Brooks Sr. Foundation Scholarship – $1,500 scholarships will be awarded to students pursuing studies in sociology/social work, Christian education, health or science, education, computer technology or business. Applicants must have at least a 2.8 GPA, demonstrate community service and submit a 500-word essay outlining their future goals. Deadline: April 10, 2026. Applications are available online. Peggy Jo Gulley Scholarship – The Memorial Baptist Church HIV Ministry will award a $500 scholarship to a graduating senior pursuing culinary arts, hospitality or food service. Applicants must be accepted to a college, university or vocational program and submit a 250-word essay describing their interest in culinary studies. Deadline: April 10, 2026. Applications can be picked up at Memorial Baptist Church or mailed to Teresa Carter, Memorial Baptist Church HIV Ministry, P.O. Box 1086, Evansville, IN 47706. Information: 812-422-7676.
Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Scholarship – The Zeta Zeta Omega Chapter, in partnership with the Pearls of Distinction Foundation, is offering scholarships for minority female students accepted to an accredited college for Fall 2026. Dr. Ira T. Neal Memorial Scholarship – Two $1,500 scholarships will be awarded to Black/African American seniors graduating from an Evansville public high school with at least a 3.0 GPA who plan to attend an accredited college, university or vocational program. Deadline: April 30, 2026. Applications should be emailed to drnealscholarship@gmail.com.
