GLA Students Help Build a Better Neighborhood!

On Tuesday, Glenwood Leadership Academy (GLA) scholars helped cut the ribbon for a neighborhood improvement project. Students had the opportunity to help construct a new sidewalk, lending their energy, curiosity, and teamwork to a real-world challenge that will benefit the community for years to come.

With guidance from Trades for Tomorrow and other community partners, the students rolled up their sleeves and learned hands-on skills while learning how safe walkways support a healthy neighborhood.  Supporting the students’ work is the JD Sheth Foundation, which has adopted the Glenwood neighborhood for community investment projects.
