Our Times Launches Free Community Events Calendar
Tired of hearing about great events after they’ve already happened?
We’re launching a new community resource that will help residents find local events and help organizations spread the word about theirs.
Our Times Staff Report
Our Times is excited to announce the launch of its new Community Events Calendar, a free resource designed to help residents discover what’s happening around town and help organizations promote their events.
The calendar features local events, meetings, festivals, educational programs, church activities, youth opportunities, fundraisers, and more. Community members can browse upcoming events in one convenient location, making it easier to stay informed, connected, and engaged.
To help provide a comprehensive community resource, the calendar automatically gathers many events from public sources throughout the region. However, organizations are encouraged to create a free account and submit events directly to ensure their listings include the most accurate information, photos, and event details.
Organizations, businesses, nonprofits, schools, churches, and community groups can create a free account and add events in just a few minutes. Events can be posted weeks or even months in advance, helping organizers avoid scheduling conflicts, reach more people, and give residents more time to plan.
A connected community is an informed community. As part of Our Times’ commitment to strengthening community connections and increasing access to local information, the calendar will also serve as a source for upcoming event listings featured in future publications and newsletters.
Event submissions are free. Additional promotional opportunities are available for organizations seeking enhanced visibility for special events and programs.
Create a free account or explore the calendar here.
Have an event to share? Add it today and help keep our community connected.
