Otters Advance to Frontier League Championship Finals
After a 6–0 opening win, Evansville is three victories away from bringing the Frontier Cup back to Bosse Field.
The Evansville Otters have advanced to the Frontier League Championship Finals against the Ottawa Titans after defeating the Washington Wild Things over the weekend. The first team to win three of five games will take home the Frontier Cup. The Otters are already off to a strong start, winning Game 1 by a score of 6–0 after Dennis Pierce led off the first inning with a home run. This marks the Titans’ first appearance in the Championship Finals since joining the league in 2022. The Otters have captured the title twice, in 2006 and 2016, and fans hope the 10-year pattern continues this year. The first two games will be played at Bosse Field, with the remaining game—or games, if necessary—at Ottawa Stadium in Ottawa, Ontario.
