Verizon Small Business Grant Open

Attention small business owners! Don’t miss this opportunity to set your business up for success by applying for the Verizon Small Business Digital Readiness grant. This grant is a partnership with LISC and part of Verizon’s goal to support 1 million small businesses by 2030. This is the second round of this funding opportunity. 

Eligibility:

• Small businesses must have an account on the Verizon Small Business Digital Ready platform to apply for this grant.
• To unlock the grant application, businesses must complete any combination of two courses or virtual events on the platform between January 1, 2024, and June 28, 2024.
• Engagements through in-person events are not considered towards grant eligibility.
• Applicants must be 18 years of age or older.
• Non-profit organizations are ineligible for this grant.
• Small business owners who have applied for previous rounds of the Verizon Small Business Digital Ready grants may apply again for the current round, but a new application must be submitted, and eligibility criteria for the current round must be met.

Application Process:

• Once the eligibility requirements are met, businesses can access the grant application on the Grants page of the Verizon Small Business Digital Ready platform.
• Applications must be submitted by 11:59 pm PT on June 28, 2024.
• Applicants may only apply for one business.

Selection Criteria:

• Awards will be made to a selection of qualified businesses based on accurate and complete submission.
• Priority will be given to businesses located in and/or serving historically underserved communities with limited access to flexible, affordable capital.

Notification:

• All applicants will be notified about whether they have been selected as a grant finalist by August 2, 2024.

Grant Utilization:

• Grant funds are intended to support small businesses in furthering their digital readiness and enhancing their capabilities to thrive in today’s digital economy.
