Grants and Training Available through Verizon

Small business owners have an opportunity for training and grants with Verizon program.

Small business owners have a new opportunity to boost their digital skills and access funding through Verizon’s Small Business Digital Ready program — a free online platform designed to help entrepreneurs grow and compete in today’s technology-driven economy.

The initiative provides participants with expert-led courses, virtual events, and hands-on resources to strengthen their digital marketing, e-commerce, and financial management skills. Whether business owners are just starting out or looking to expand their online presence, Digital Ready offers practical guidance tailored to the needs of small enterprises.

As part of this effort, Verizon is awarding $10,000 grants to 50 small businesses that complete program requirements. To be eligible, entrepreneurs must register for free, complete at least two courses or events, and submit a grant application by December 10, 2025.

“Small businesses are the backbone of our communities and helping them build digital confidence is essential for long-term success,” Verizon representatives said in a statement about the program.

The Digital Ready platform is open to all small business owners and entrepreneurs. For more information or to register, visit Landing Page.
