CenterPoint Energy Foundation is accepting applications for education programs in the area.

Nonprofits have until Feb. 13 to apply

The CenterPoint Energy Foundation is now accepting applications for its first grant cycle of 2026, offering funding for nonprofit education programs serving local communities.

Applications are open through Feb. 13 for nonprofit organizations with programs focused on:

  • Literacy
  • Science, technology, engineering and math (STEM)
  • Workforce development

Eligible organizations must be located within CenterPoint Energy’s service areas, including Indiana. Priority will be given to programs serving low-to-moderate income families and under-resourced communities.

The CenterPoint Energy Foundation is funded separately from the utility and does not impact customer rates, according to the organization.

A second grant cycle is expected to open in June 2026 and will focus on community vitality initiatives, including affordable housing, environmental stewardship and community outdoor spaces.
