Congratulations to YouthBuild Graduates!

On September 15th, the YouthBuild Evansville Program celebrated its graduating class at a ceremony held at Willard Library.

YouthBuild Evansville, sponsored by Advantix Development Corporation and the Evansville Housing Authority, empowers young people ages 16–24 to pursue their high school diploma or equivalency, gain valuable job skills, and give back to the community through building affordable housing.

The program is supported by the U.S. Department of Labor and the City of Evansville through CDBG funds.

We congratulate these graduates for their hard work and determination. Their success is not only a personal achievement but also a contribution to our community’s future.

Rasheedah Ajibade is the Editor-in-Chief of Our Times Newspaper, where she sets the editorial vision and voice of the publication, oversees newsroom operations, and leads content strategy focused on informing, empowering, and uplifting the community. Rasheedah holds a Master of Science in Public Service Administration from the University of Evansville and a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from the University of Southern Indiana. She is an Accredited Financial Counselor (AFC®) through the Association for Financial Counseling & Planning Education (AFCPE) and periodically writes a financial column for Our Times, helping readers strengthen financial literacy and build long-term financial stability.
