Meet JarDan Ramon, Owner of JarDan Ramon Enterprises LLC

Driven by a commitment to create accessible, culturally grounded, and purpose-driven spaces in Evansville, JarDan Ramon launched JarDan Ramon Enterprises LLC, which encompasses three initiatives. Hit & Hustle EVV-a boxing and fitness program that provides fitness opportunities for all skill levels; Eight12 Run Club which brings together runners of all abilities for regular group runs; and JarDan Ramon Meditations which provide guided meditation and mindfulness sessions.

Why did you decide to start this business?

I launched Hit & Hustle EVV, Eight12 Run Club, and JarDan Ramon Meditations to meet our city where it lives mind, body, and spirit. Growing up, I watched how movement, mentorship, and mindfulness can redirect a life. Boxing develops discipline and self-belief. Running builds consistency and community. Meditation restores the nervous system and refocuses the mind. Together, they offer a full pathway: sharpen your body, steady your breath, strengthen your character. My mission is simple; create programs that meet people at any starting point and help them rise, round by round, mile by mile, breath by breath.

What do you hope this business will provide for the community?

I want to provide a safe, welcoming ecosystem for transformation. Through Hit & Hustle EVV, I teach fundamentals, confidence, and accountability. Through Eight12 Run Club, we connect all paces, new runners to seasoned athletes because running together helps us rise together. Through JarDan Ramon Meditations, I make mental wellness approachable with simple, guided practices for stress relief, sleep, and focus. I want families to train together, kids to find positive outlets, and adults to rebuild their health in community. Ultimately, I hope to normalize wellness in Evansville where movement, mindfulness, and mutual support will become everyday culture.

What has been your biggest challenge in launching?

The biggest challenge has been wearing every hat at once; coach, creative, marketer, program designer while bootstrapping. Building systems that scale without losing the heart of the mission has been the work: scheduling, funding equipment, securing space, and keeping outreach consistent. However, the challenges refined me. It forced clarity around operations, partnerships, and pacing. Choosing sustainability over speed, and impact over appearances. Each obstacle became a rep for resilience and a reminder to stay anchored to the “why.”

What is your advice to aspiring entrepreneurs?

My advice is to move with purpose, not pressure. Start small, stay consistent, and let your consistency become your credibility. Build relationships before revenue; people support what serves them. Protect your mornings, master your calendar, and track your inputs, not just outcomes. Iterate in public; test, learn, refine. Stay authentic: you don’t need to be louder, just clearer. And when it gets hard (it will), return to service. Impact compounds.
